Filtering Words on Message and TTS

Hello Streamers!

We've received feedback from you that there should be a way to filter messages and TTS. Worry Not! We already have a system implemented so that you can filter any profanity from your stream.

Please read the guide below for more information:

After you log in, go to Account Management > Account Settings

Filtering Messages on Chat

Scroll down and find the Filtering Setup Tab > Replace Message Display Setting
-Placing a restricted word list allows you to block certain words or phrases you wish to keep off from your stream.
-Enabling the Nickname Filter allows you to filter profane nicknames.

-All restricted words and nicknames will be replaced by the word you put under "Replace Word for Restricted Word"

In your chat, If someone says the word or has a nickname you put under the Restricted Words List,

Your chat will show up as the Replaced Word.

Restricting Words for TTS Donations

Similar to restricting chat messages, You can also set up restrict words for TTS Donations.


If a donator tries to donate with your restricted word the following message will pop up for them.

You will still be able to see the donation on your remote control, but the donation will not go through.

Pressing "Play" prompts the following message, similar to the chat restriction, will appear on your TTS

*Important Information
-Please note that you can add one restrict word at a time. If you copy paste a list of words, it will not properly set up the restrict word function. 

-Restricted words are not case sensitive, but are space sensitive.
